40 Days for Life is a powerful national campaign, which employs the most effective weapons against abortion – prayer and fasting. It also puts a spotlight on the evil of abortion through the public witness of prayer at abortion centers. The presence of the Body of Christ at the abortion centers tells women who believe they have no other choice but abortion that someone cares and will help them. At the same time it sends a message to the abortion industry and to our elected officials that women deserve better than abortion and that more and more of us are willing to make sacrifices to achieve it.
